About Our Tour
Q: Do you pick up only plastic garbage?
A: Things which enter the net, like styrofoam, PET bottles, and wood chips, we also pick up.
Q: Do I get seasick?
A: If you get easily seasick, you may get seasick. Please take medicine for seasickness before joining.
Q: Is there a place to change clothes?
A: Yes, there is.
Q: Can children join?
A: If elementary school student or older, can join. Need to come with parent or guardian.
Q: Please tell me the cancellation conditions for the tour.
A: If the following conditions happen, tour will be canceled. We will decide the day before and contact applicant by phone or message.
Wave: If wave height is more than 1.5m.
Wind: If wind at the event place is more than 6m/s.
Thunder: If thunder is happening.
Rain: If heavy rain.
About Our Activity
Q: Why do I have to pay money for picking up garbage?
A: We are working for the mission “to reduce marine garbage” and we have been doing volunteer activity without money for many years. But to pick up, separate, and dispose the garbage needs a lot of effort and time. Also, we need money to keep and manage the boats and cars which carry the garbage. To continue our mission not as one-time event but as long-time activity, we need your participation fee. Also, we make it paid on purpose, as a small hurdle, to gather friends who join this action with voluntary mind.
