A:Plastic Fishing
Let’s fish plastic up!
Participants ride on small boat and collect plastic garbage on the sea using big net, while enjoying the view of Miyajima. Participants can enjoy picking up garbage like a game, by competing how much garbage they get or showing funny or rare trash to each other.
Also, during the tour, guide will give lecture about the present situation of marine garbage (plastic garbage) and recycling, so participants can learn more about ocean problems.
At the end of the tour, participants will receive small souvenir which is upcycled from marine garbage.

Depending on the weather and other conditions, garbage picking may change from on the sea to on the beach.
If you get seasick easily, please take medicine for seasickness before the tour.
B:Upcycle Making
Plastic is not garbage — it is resource!
In this workshop, you can learn about marine garbage problem in Japan and the world, also about plastic consumption issue and some hints for solution.
Participants can enjoy talk and quiz about plastic, and make nice product by own hands using waste plastic.
The finished product can be taken home as souvenir.

The venue is half outdoor, so please prepare well for cold or hot weather.

When melting plastic, there is some smell. If you are sensitive to chemical substances, please do not join.
The making contents may change depending on number and type of participants.
C:Eco Experience Full Course
If you move, society will change.
This tour lets you experience both Course A and Course B in one day.
First, you move your body and pick up garbage, then you can make nice product from waste plastic.
You will feel that something you thought was just trash becomes something valuable, and that your action really helps to reduce garbage.
